· Drive and operate trucks with capacity of at least 15,500lbs Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW).
· Check and inspect the truck to ensure that mechanical, safety and emergency equipment is in good working and running condition to prevent and avoid road accident and damages of the truck.
· Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance; comply with all safe work practices, policies and processes at all times.
· Pick up construction materials, verify loads for accuracy, and deliver them as instructed
· Inspect load weight capacity of the cargoes and ensure cargoes are secured of tying roof, covers and other paraphernalia for safety delivery.
· Follow instructions; locate and read location and road maps. Responsible to follow all road traffic rules and regulation to avoid disruption of the delivery.
· Securing card and properly arranging and balancing it within the vehicle.
· Report and inform immediate manager or supervisor for truck damages and defects and any traffic violations and accident that may occur.
